Here you can find explanations for the many Casting Processes. 
 
You can look up definitions for  words and terms used in Casting Industry.

You can learn how to place your order  for Casting Project items, like samples, tooling, and production runs of castings.

You can find out what type of information is going to be required by our Foundries to build your Casting Project; like alloys, pattern requirements, Insurance responsibilities on your tooling, etc.

 
 
 
 
1. Casting Processes

This Section explains most of the Casting Processes available in the Casting Industry. Do to space requirements we cannot possibly list and explain all of the variations. If there is a Casting Process you are interested in, e-mail Wynn Danzur, or contact the American Foundry Society.

2. Glossary

This is your Casting Industry Dictionary. 

It works pretty much like any other Dictionary. 

Using the list of letters you will find at top of page inside, select the first letter of the word, or phrase, which you are seeking. 

Your choice, from this list of letters, will to jump to appropriate section of this Section of the website, taking you to the approximate area of what you are seeking to find. Then,  just scroll down to the word you are looking for. 

         The big difference here, is that this dictionary, is limited by the  words put into it.

         If you look up a word / nothing happens, there is no corresponding definition.
